Rabbi Yehuda Pink has been the Rabbi of Solihull Hebrew Congregation and the Chabad Shliach to Solihull since December 1993. He is now one of the
longest-serving Provincial Rabbis.
Rabbi Pink serves as Jewish Chaplain to the Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust.
Rabbi Pink is the founder of the West Midlands Jewish Medical Ethics Forum he was awarded a MSc in Health Care Ethics and Law from the University of Birmingham, his studies were sponsored by the UJIA. Rabbi Pink was honoured with the Mayor’s Award in 2014 recognising his outstanding contribution to civic life in Solihull.
Rabbi Pink is the author of Medicine and Morals published by JLI, the Jewish Learning Institute, the largest provider of Jewish Adult Education in the world.
Rabbi Pink lectures on Jewish Medical Ethics to audiences nationally and internationally.
The 3rd of Tammuz is the yortzeit of one of the brightest shining lights of the 20th century, the Lubavitcher Rebbe. A farbrengen is an opportunity to connect, discuss, debate, and socialise with others in an informal setting. A Historic Evening with Anne Frank’s Sister, Eva Schloss!
Eva Schloss was born in Vienna, Austria in 1929. As Hitler invaded she and her family fled to Holland and went into hiding. In May 1944 they were betrayed, captured by the Nazis and sent to Auschowitz – Birkenau death camp where her family were gassed. She is the childhood friend and step sister of Anne Frank.
